Streamline your processes
and bring your client service back into focus

Time and file management are inextricably linked to one another. If one area is slow and inefficient, it will impact on the other, causing frustration to the lawyer, potentially delays for the client and can place a strain on the business. It’s a ripple effect.

We look at specific ways to streamline workflows, optimise file systems, reduce administrative downtime and increase productivity so that the focus of the practice, day-in, day-out, can be servicing the client.

Our time and file management programs are tailored to suit any size or style or practice, from the individual fee earner to systems for an entire firm because we personally consult with you to determine what would best suit your business and once approved, we can train staff on site and implement the systems quickly and with minimal disruption to the practice.

We are based in New South Wales and can provide face to face or online training to any law firm throughout Australia.  Take advantage of our online live CPD seminars and workshops  which are increasing in popularity. To discuss your specific requirements or make a booking, contact us today.

FAQs

Who is this training suitable for?

This training is suitable for the individual, new staff or an entire practice group or law firm.  We look at what already exists in terms of best practice and simply build the best system possible. This training has also proven popular with our clients hiring new staff (graduate lawyers or administration).

How long does the training take?

The time taken to assess, develop and then implement the time and file management systems required will vary from client to client, depending on the size of the task and individuals involved. We consult you on your requirements and once a clear plan is agreed, we provide a very detailed quote/costing including all stages of implementation, time with staff and the phases required. Normally, we’ve seen training in this area can vary from 1 to 3 hours in total, across 2 sessions, depending on the experience of the staff member. Senior staff require less time. Junior staff seem to require more time in training.

Where does the training take place?

All time and file management work can be undertaken at your place of business or online.

Which geographical areas do you cover?

Thrive provides training and education to law firms throughout Australia, either face to face or via online webinars and workshops.

What sized businesses do you service?

From individual sole practitioners to large corporate firms, we can deliver training programs to legal practices of any size.

Can CPD points be claimed through this program?

Yes. This training is relevant to the lawyer's professional development and 1 unit can be claimed for each hour of training (up to 3 hrs of professional development in NSW- may vary for other states). The necessary CPD documentation can be provided at the conclusion of the training for your records.

“I have recently invited Ana to consult with and train our employees on their work practices and productivity. This had two effects; the first of those was anticipated as there was an immediate increase in our productivity and time captured, I might add this increase was approximately 15–20%. The second added benefit was that the employees here at Merridy Elphick Lawyers felt more confident in what they were doing with regard to their time recording and productivity.”
