A successful client relationship
begins and ends with good communication

Law firms are acutely aware communication is key to establishing and maintaining an open, trustworthy and successful client relationship. So, our aim is to eliminate ‘poor communication’ which is inextricably linked to complaints by clients (whether conduct or billing based).

We provide a highly structured training and education approach in this area to ensure your people are consistently clear, concise and timely in their communication to any client. In our experience, an informed client is a prepared client (legally, emotionally and financially) for each phase of their matter, regardless of the outcome.

Our goal is to provide your people with the skills to confidently communicate all aspects of a matter to a client, from start to finish, reducing the potential for confusion, conflict and complaints.

Our client communication programs are available to law firms throughout NSW (face to face and online) as well as throughout Australia via online CPD seminars, small group workshops and webinars. It can also be tailored to meet individual business needs, so to discuss your specific requirements or make a booking, contact us today.

FAQs

Who is this training suitable for?

The training is suitable for both lawyers and administrative staff (of any age or experience). To date, the training has been exceptionally helpful to our clients who have hired graduate lawyers and overall new staff.

How long does the training take?

The training can be tailored to suit your needs so the time for training can vary from firm to firm.  Most of the training is limited to 60 to 90 minutes and often involves a short 30 minute follow up session about 1 week later to review the training, iron out any bugs and answer questions. The training for an individual or group is no different in time.

Where does the training take place?

We can provide training face to face at your office, boardroom or with an individual at their desk or workstation and using their own work for context. Our most popular training is now taking place online via Teams or Zoom.

Which geographical areas do you cover?

Thrive provides training and education to law firms throughout Australia, either face to face or via online webinars and workshops.

What sized businesses do you service?

From individual sole practitioners to large corporate firms, we can deliver training programs to legal practices of any size.

Can CPD points be claimed through this program?

Yes. This training is relevant to the lawyer's professional development and 1 unit can be claimed for each hour of training (up to 3 hrs of professional development in NSW- may vary for other states). The necessary CPD documentation can be provided at the conclusion of the training for your records.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that is has taken place.
